Ishan ji aks Babaji:
BABA JI, YOU NEVER CREATED AN ASHRAM IN THE TRUEST SENSE OF THE TERM. MANY PEOPLE SAY WE WANT TO GIVE UP EVERYTHING AND DEVOTE OURSELVES TO OUR GURU. WHAT IS SANYAS ACCORDING TO SHIV YOG?
See, one approach is reach physically close to Baba ji and the other is to take Baba ji close to you internally. When you have to take Baba ji close to you from within, then you will have to follow his teachings. The teaching is flow with nature and follow the principles of nature.
I am saying that rather than you approaching me and leaving everything just to be with me, take me with you such that you don’t have to give up anything. I am not making missionaries. I am not making an army. I am teaching people how to live a good life. it is important for everyone to learn how to live.
To go against the will of a person, impose renunciation in the name of teaching him the way of life is not what i am advocating.
Regarding the advice regarding a spiritual person, specifically a spiritual teacher not having a family, I want to say that a person who has not experienced family life, how he can teach family life to people? The person who has not experienced family values, how he can teach the family values to the other people? Of course I am not denying anything from the past.
There were great great great great scholars. Even Adi Shankracharya was a great meditator & he was single. He died young. Once, he happened to be engaged in a fierce debate with a great scholar who believed in the philosophy of having a family to grow spiritually rather than giving up everything.
But when Mandana was losing the debate to Adi Shankracharya, Mandana’s came forward as saving grace for her husband. The wife said ok debate with me. She put forth questions which proved to be beyond the scope of Shankracharya’s comprehension as he had not experienced a worldly, family life.
So then he said give me a few months’ time because I can only answer about being a spiritualist householder only when i experience grihastha.
Then, through parkaya pravesh, which was one of the science which our Yogis knew, he left his body and entered into the body of a king who had recently married. And only when his knowledge and learning was complete, he came and debated with that wise lady, the wife of Mandana.
And another thing is there are different yugas. When man has very less time, a man has to learn so much in so less time. So he has to learn being within the family, the family values, resolve all the unresolved issues of the past lives and he has to attain the self realization which only a guru who has experienced the world, the spirituality can guide. Only he can teach better because realization is merging with the mool prakruti and mool prakruti is Shiva and Shakti. And Shiva and Shakti trickles down to become male and female energy.
Ishan ji: WHAT IS THE NEED OF GOD? IS THERE A NECESSITY OF THE ALMIGHTY?
Certainly! See, there is a physical body. Next question you say is there a necessity of the heart? Is there a necessity of the liver? Do you have the necessity of the liver? Now you may ask, is there a necessity of the cells? When you understand the cells you may ask is there a necessity of the atoms which created these cells? After I teach you the atoms, you will say is there a necessity of the fundamental, formative particles which science has discovered to be even further deep constituents of electron, proton & neutron?
So basically there is a source, there is a shunya from where everything originated. Shunya is peaceful, shunya is the creator, shunya has infinite power and from there it is the expression which is coming out. Now that expression our mind is controlling. So basically there is a need of light, there is a need of bliss, need of tranquility, there is a need of the self – which is god. Without light you can’t have vision. God has to be there but it is not the religious testimonies, not the religion. It is going beyond that. Seeing human as a human being. And every human being has a god within himself. It is not the community god. It is the god of the self.
